16 Jul Triple Threat to Calming Skin: All Calm Clinical Redness Corrector SPF 50
I must say, I was instantly in love with this product. A high mineral SPF 50, a promise to cancel redness, and all from a highly respected skin care brand, Colorescience.
This product is great for anyone, but especially anyone with visible redness, rosacea, or acne. It works brilliantly after procedures to cancel out any redness and soothe irritation.
The Clinical Redness Corrector is a triple threat. First, an SPF 50 means you are truly protected. And the fact that it is mineral-based and chemical-free makes it safe for sensitive, breakout-prone skin, and after skin treatments. Think of a mineral SPF as a layer of mini mirrors reflecting UV rays away from your skin. This is so important, as sun is the #1 trigger of redness and rosacea.
Secondly, the “Clinical” part of this product comes from it’s ability to instantly provide relief to irritated skin, and reduce redness over time. Niacinamide, a highly researched ingredient, works to clarify skin, reduce redness and oil, and well as give the skin overall clarity. Vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant, calms skin before and after UV exposure. Magnolia bark firms, ginger cools and soothes, and marine sea fennel gives skin that big drink of water. This product does one of my favourite things for compromised skin. It strengthens the skin’s protective barrier. Meaning it will help your skin’s ability to keep out environmental irritants, and keep in hydration. Perfect for the very common oily but still dehydrated skin.
And thirdly, the shade of this product is truly amazing. It’s the perfect neutral shade, infused with a green undertone. Unlike the typical peach or pink based BB creams and tinted moisturizers, this product will easily blend away redness. The matifying primer smoothes the skin’s texture and controls oil. Less product is usually needed when it uses colour neutralizing technology. Meaning with the Clinical Redness Corrector, you can get that “I don’t need to wear foundation”, natural skin look. Actually, you may want to expect compliments.
Protect and heal the skin, instead of hiding under makeup that makes the skin more irritated. Try it out, or its sister product, the Even Up Clinical Pigment Perfector, the next time your at The Vanity Lab.
