Intensive Pigment Peel System

At The Vanity Lab we believe in healthy skin and by using world-class prescription skin care we can optimise the long-term health of your skin. Our Pigment Peels are considered the gold-standard treatments for melasma and other pigmentation conditions.

Our Intensive Pigment Peels are made up of a powerful formulation of ingredients, which work together to remove pigment from the skin and inhibit tyrosinase, the basic enzyme responsible for the production of excess pigment in the skin.

The treatments consists of two parts, an in-clinic peel application followed by an intense home care maintenance regime lasting from 4 up to 12 months.

How many treatments do I need?

The mask application is usually a once-off treatment but may be repeated 4 - 6 weeks later if necessary. It is vital to continue with the recommended homecare for at least 4- 12 months following the treatment; this is known as the stabilisation phase.

Some forms of pigmentation will need to be followed by intense pigment homecare creams indefinitely to prevent pigmentation from resurfacing; your skin technician will guide you through the entire process.

When will I see results?

Results can usually be seen as early as 1-week post treatment, pigment will continue to lift and lighten and best results are usually observed about 4 weeks into the treatment. The skin will appear even, luminous and healthy.
